A hydraulic bar pinned a Plant City man between a hay baler and the baler's gate, sheriff's spokeswoman Debbie Carter said.

James Miltner, a 60-year-old retired firefighter, was airlifted to Tampa General Hospital. He was alert and spoke to emergency personnel.
