Ryan Jurjevich HATS OFF

WOW !! ! Heads and shoulders above the Tampa PD crowd, this fine Police Officer jumped in the water, risking HIS OWN LIFE to save someone else's life.

Of course, no one on the Tampa Fire dept who has NOT been specially trained would be doing that. Instead fire officials, paramedics and sunstar deathbox drivers would be holding back onlookers from attempting a rescue.

THIS is actually the THIRD thing today that gives me hope for Tampa. I hope you'll be okay without me.

For sure there are a few humans here. AND A FEW HEROES.

Thank you, Officer Jurjevich.

NOTHING could restore my faith in the TPD or the TFD or the GEEsheriffs but the few good souls among you make me proud.
Cop risks life for bridge jumper
A Tampa police deputy (huh? shouldn't a journalist know better?) helped save the life of a woman who attempted suicide by jumping over the Howard Frankland Bridge Monday night, according to authorities.

The incident happened around 7:30 p.m. That's when officers with the Tampa police department were dispatched to the Tampa side of the bridge where a caller said a woman had jumped.

Once at the scene they observed a woman hanging onto a piling in the water. She had been in the water, which was between 55 and 65 degrees for about 15 minutes, according to reports.

After trying unsuccessfully to secure the woman with a life preserver, Officer Ryan Jurjevich jumped into the water with a life preserver. After reaching the female, he grabbed a rope that had been lowered by officers on the scene. The officers then pulled Jurjevich and the female one half-mile before a Tampa Fire rescue boat arrived.

Both Jurjevich and the woman were transported to Memorial Hospital with signs of hypothermia. Jurjevich was later released from the hospital. The woman who attempted suicide was Baker Acted, by a Florida State Trooper who was on the scene.

Gang and Citizen Stalking
An interesting PUBLIC discussion pertaining to Firemen ABUSE OF PUBLIC FUNDS at FloridaToday.com.
Unlike THIS victim I have NO intention of keeping this information to myself. I warned warned and warned. Let the chips fall where they may. I think I've made it PRETTY CLEAR that I intend to reveal if it doesn't stop and instead they thought they'd scare me and DO MORE. That's their choice.
